Do you need internet access at home or on-the-go?
Is your internet too slow?
Wi-fi hotspots are now available to borrow from the public library… at no charge. These mobile hotspots can be used anywhere to connect a Wi-Fi enabled device to the internet. A Verizon cellular network signal is required. If you don’t have Verizon signal, the hotspot will not work.
These hotspots provide free, educationally filtered access to the internet and are intended for school work. Many sites, including social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, are blocked through the educational filter. If a site needed to complete an assignment is blocked, the library can unblock it by request.
Hotspots may be borrowed for an entire semester. Devices checked out now will be due back to the library by Dec. 30th, 2021.
