Children’s story time about famous artists, then creating an art project using acrylic paints – old clothes recommended.
12:00 PM
Complimentary hot dog lunch served for children and adults. Ribbon cutting for new picnic shelter.

Children’s Concert begins with Irene Rose.
Irene Rose is a singer/songwriter that inspires children to love their neighbors, be kind, and to overcome darkness with light. Her concert/dance party will get your kids singing and swinging to the sounds of friendship and positivity. Irene recently won “Children’s Song of the Year“ for her single “It’s OK to Make Mistakes” at the JMA Awards in Nashville.
This is a free community event for the whole family and all ages are welcome.
The story time and art program are best for children 6 -10 years old.
In case of rain, these events will be held inside the McCormick Library.
