Starting Tuesday, June 2nd the McCormick County Library will expand services to the public and normal library hours will resume.
Access to computers will be by appointment. This includes use of the copy machines, scanner, and printers. The first 10 copies are provided at no charge. Please call ahead to make an appointment and plan to wear a mask inside the library.
Items may be borrowed by placing an order via telephone, email, or the online catalog. When you are ready to pickup your items, library staff will place your order on the library porch. Return items in the outside book drop. With the health and safety of staff and the community being a high priority, all returned materials will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before they are made available for use again. Library cardholders can expect a delay of several days before returned items are removed from their library account. Overdue fines will not be charged.
If you are not sure what’s available, browse the online catalog or call to speak with a librarian. We are happy to help you find your next favorite book, audio book, or film. And if we don’t have it, we can get it!
The library can continue mail service to citizens with a McCormick address as an alternative to porch pickup if needed.
