Come learn about your wild neighbors on Thursday, February 18th at 6:30 pm at the McCormick County Library. McCormick resident Josh Sandt will cover the biology, distribution, and pros and cons of these three animals during his presentation followed by a question and answer session.
Mr. Sandt was born and grew up in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He attended Virginia Tech where he received a BS Degree in Forestry and a MS In Wildlife Management. After graduating, he took a job with Maryland Department Of Natural Resources, starting as a Field Biologist and moved through the ranks as a Program Manager for both Upland and Forest Wildlife. He ended his career after 35 years as Director of Wildlife.
