Cheers to everyone who came out for trivia night at the library! Team “Panache” won the top prize, and, true to their name, they donated it all to the library. Very nice, thank you! We are going to use it to make the next trivia night even better. I’m thinking heavy hor d’oeuvres, because who wants to worry about dinner? Also, the next trivia night will be a charity event. All proceeds will go to the winning team’s local good cause of choice. I will be rooting for the Friends of the Library, of course. My wife plans to play for the Humane Society. I hope a team will play for the MACK. Lets see, there is also Helping Hands, the Lions Club, the Childrens Home, Rotary, Habitat for Humanity ….. just to name a few.

The date is Thursday, February 27th at 6:30 pm. Play solo (brave!) or bring a team or join a team when you get here. $5 per person. No more than 4 brains per team. Make a reservation in advance to secure your spot.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1.     Are the trivia questions from the game Trivial Pursuit? No, we find or devise the questions ourselves. We aim for fun, funny or fascinating.

2.     How is the game played? The question is read aloud and appears on a screen. Teams pass their written answer to the front. After all teams have submitted an answer, the correct answer is shown. A correct answer is worth one point. Scores are not displayed or announced except that: at the end of round 2, 3 and 4, the top two teams scores are announced.

3.     How long does it last? +/-90 minutes.

See you then,
