Astrophysicist Kevin Manning will be at the McCormick Library on Tuesday, June 18th starting at 7pm to share his passion for astronomy. His program is entitled Astronomy for Everyone: The Size & Scale of the Universe. It includes exciting video footage that is both inspiring and educational. It’s a virtual tour of the entire universe from the very small to the very large.  Enjoy stunning visuals and discover the beautiful mysteries of space. Kevin will be available to field a meteor shower of diverse questions and following the indoor formal presentation, participants will go outdoors to view celestial objects in the night sky through a powerful handcrafted telescope, such as the rings of Saturn, craters on the Moon, etc., weather permitting. This program is free and all are welcome to attend.
